Thanks for this great post! I absolutely agree with you that the more time you spend in a foreign country the more valuable is the experience and understanding of this country. I especially like your phrase “beyond-just-knicking-the-surface-and-getting-drunk-in-a-few-foreign-countries” is very true, as well as your statement about making the most of your time abroad.
